Our client, a real estate development company, is seeking to hire a strategic and results – driven Marketing Director to lead and develop its comprehensive marketing function across the Ghanaian and broader West African property market.
ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building brand equity, developing market positioning and driving sales targets through the execution of integrated marketing strategies for residential commercial and mixed – use real estate projects. The successful candidate will be leading the marketing team, manage agency and media partnerships and provide data- driven insights to support the company’s sustainable growth objectives with Ghana and West Africa.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and execute the annual marketing plan within the approved budget
- Build and manage the company’s brand identity across all digital and traditional channels
- Lead promotional campaigns for real estate projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
- Build strategic partnerships with real estate brokers, influencers, and institutional partners
Digital Marketing & Content
- Oversee digital content, social media platforms, and search engine optimisation (SEO/SEM)
- Manage relationships with advertising agencies, photographers, and media production partners
- Measure campaign effectiveness using analytics tools and produce performance reports for senior management
Market Intelligence & Business Development
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the Ghanaian property market and competitor landscape to identify opportunities
- Organise property exhibitions, open days, and real estate events to generate leads
- Provide strategic market insights to the General Manager to support business development decisions
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, develop, and manage the marketing team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Set clear KPIs and hold the marketing team accountable for measurable outcomes
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience, with at least 2 years in the real estate or property sector
- Proven track record in project launches and multi-channel marketing campaign management
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and data analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Meta Ads
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset
- Strategic thinking and creative ideation capabilities
- Results-oriented with accountability for measurable KPIs
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns under tight timelines
