Our client, a sustainability consulting firm, is seeking to hire an experienced individual to manage the organisation’s administrative and human resource affairs in the capacity of a Human Resources and Administrative Manager 

ROLE PROFILE

The selected candidate will be leading and managing all aspects of human resources and administrative operations within the organisation. The final candidate will be overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, policy development, office administration, and compliance to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the client’s goals.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Oversee performance management systems, appraisals, and staff development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain updated employee records and HR databases.
  • Drive employee engagement, wellness programmes, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Oversee general office administration to ensure a well-organised and efficient work environment.
  • Prepare HR and administrative reports for management review.
  • Support audits and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, legal requirements, and regulatory bodies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • A professional certification in SHRM, CIPD, HRMP, and IHRMP is a plus.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in HR and administrative management roles.

  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong leadership, supervisory, and people-management abilities.
  • Must possess a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Must possess strong strategic thinking and long-term planning skills
