REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (ASHANTI REGION)

Our client, an agricultural company is looking for an experienced person to fill the role of a REGIONAL SALES MANAGER to assist in the operations of the business.

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets at optimum cost and motivating the sales force to achieve these targets effectively and efficiently. He/she will also perform the following duties as well:

 DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage distributors with high-quality services and support to attain their loyalty and become their primary choice.
  • Ensure optimum distribution activity from distributor partners.
  • Ensure meticulous placement of the product at retail counters from distributors with a beat plan.
  • Develop strong relationships with retailers and their key staff.
  • Take regular feedback on competitors’ pricing to keep our product store price competitive.
  • Take feedback, suggestions, and complaints and present them to management for further action plans.
  • Handle payment collection from the channel.
  • Communicate prices, discounts, and schemes to distributors and retailers in a timely manner.
  • Assist sales promoters and event executives while supervising their activities and report back on efficacy.
  • Ensure effective and efficient logistics.
  • Motivate and supervise the sales team, including institutional sales.

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales and Business Development or any related field.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of working experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a similar role.
  • A proven track record of at least 3 years of fieldwork experience in the FMCG industry is highly required.
