BRANCH COORDINATOR (KUMASI)

Our client, a reputable domestic courier company with operations nationwide is seeking to hire a competent, positive and receptive individual for the position of Branch Coordinator. The competent individual will be responsible for ensuring the proper management of the office premises such as administering proper maintenance of motorbikes and tricycles at the branch and providing excellent customer service. He/she will be seeing to the smooth running of delivery services as well as performing the following functions:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the effective delivery of customer requests within the specified jurisdiction.
  • Ensure customer delivery expectations are met and service level agreement with each customer is adhered to.
  • Develop strategic measures for quality delivery services.
  • Generate estimates for activities daily and submit them to the accounts department for funds.
  • Build relationships with clients, assess their needs and generate submissions to address client’s needs.
  • Ensure staff at the branch perform properly according to their various job requirements.
  • Ensure proper packing and storage of client’s products to prevent damage and product loss.
  • Connect with the branch and the HR office and report all concerns of the branch to the HR department.
  • Maintain positive, consistent communication with staff and clients.
  • Ensure that cash received and cash disbursed are documented daily.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or any related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
  • Must have work experience as a Delivery Coordinator with any firm.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a thorough knowledge of logistics operations and supply chain management principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication.
  • Must possess strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyse situations and contribute effective solutions to problems.
  • Must be detail-oriented to identify lapses in daily transactions.
  • Ability to work well with other service delivery managers to ensure perfection in the delivery of services to clients.
