DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Our client is seeking to hire a passionate and results-driven individual to join the company’s dynamic team as a Digital Marketing Executive.

ROLE PROFILE

The selected candidate will be entrusted with advising and supporting multiple small businesses across various industries in the development, execution, and optimisation of their digital marketing strategies. He/she will work closely with the company’s clients to ensure all digital marketing efforts are aligned with well-established industry best practices and are executed flawlessly.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and competitive landscape. Provide expert advice on how to leverage digital marketing to achieve their objectives.
  • Design and recommend digital marketing strategies that encompass SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and paid ads.
  • Develop tailored digital marketing campaigns for each client, considering their industry, target audience, and unique selling propositions (USPs).
  • Assist in managing client budgets for digital marketing campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across channels for maximum ROI.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of digital marketing campaigns, from planning and execution to monitoring and optimisation.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social media insights to ensure KPIs and objectives are being met.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation across all channels (e.g., A/B testing, conversion rate optimisation, retargeting strategies).
  • Support content creation efforts, including blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and ads, ensuring content aligns with SEO and audience engagement best practices.
  • Implement and manage Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies, including on-page and off-page optimisation, keyword research, technical SEO, and content optimisation.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.), including ad creation, budget management, bid strategies, and audience segmentation.
  • Create and deliver detailed performance reports to clients, including insights on campaign results, conversion rates, audience engagement, and ROI.
  • Regularly meet with clients (virtually or in person) to provide updates, discuss results, and refine strategies as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices. Provide clients with insights into new and emerging strategies that can drive their business forward.
  • Perform competitor research to understand the digital marketing strategies employed by competitors in each industry and identify opportunities for differentiation.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), content marketing, and paid media.
  • Google Ads, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint, or similar digital marketing certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) or collaborating with design teams for creative assets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and related marketing techniques.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEMrush, Mailchimp, and social media platforms.
  • Experience in on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies, keyword research, content optimisation, and website audits.
  • Expertise in setting up, managing, and optimising paid ad campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Ability to analyse data, create insights, and optimise campaigns for improved performance and ROI.
  • Ability to create compelling copy and design content that resonates with target audiences (with a good understanding of content marketing principles).
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interaction and report generation.
  • Must have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Must take initiative to recommend and implement new strategies or optimisations, constantly striving for excellence.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt strategies based on data and client feedback.
  • Ability to work comfortably across a variety of industries, adjusting marketing strategies to suit each client’s unique needs and goals.
  • Ability to work with different teams (content, design, development) to execute campaigns smoothly.
  • Ability to adopt an empathetic and consultative approach to manage client relationships to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
