REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

Our client, an FMCG company is looking for an experienced person to fill the role of a REGIONAL SALES MANAGER to assist in the operations of the business.

 

ROLE PROFILE

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying plans to the upper management within the assigned operational regions. He/she will also manage distributors with respect to the overall operations, infrastructure, processes and people capability.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess infrastructural requirement size, business potential, capital and infrastructure requirement.
  • Manage KD (Key demographics) profitability and ROI (Return on Investment)
  • Select distributors (access capability, skill/experience and their attitude)
  • Set up Key demographics in the country, including the commercial processes.
  • Prepare infrastructural blue-print for distributors.
  • Establish Key demographics operations, sales plan sales, fix and monitor sales targets and key performance metrics and channel plans.
  • Evaluate NPS (Net Promoters Score) across all business segments.
  • Resolve all issues and maintain professional relationships with all customers within assigned area, ensure profitability in sales and ensure achievement of all revenue goals within the facility.
  • Analyze all requirements of individual market areas and recommend strategies to increase revenue.
  • Analyze all market trends and ensure an optimal level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide the necessary support to sales associates to enable them to generate market leads and close new deals.
  • Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives, and strategies to capture key demographics.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Regional Sales Manager or in a similar role.
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in Regional sales Management within the FMCG industry is an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar Senior Sales role.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (Return on Investments and Key performance indicators).
  • Must understand store operations.
  • Ability to lead and to motivate a high-performance sales team.
  • Familiarity with CRM Software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving skills attitude.
  • Must have a strong IT background for improving sales operations.
